Week Five: Meditations on Peace


Real peace is a state of body, mind, emotions, heart and soul. It is not stillness but vibration that permeates every part of us. We can be running for a bus and simultaneously be at peace. We can be experiencing a moment of anger and still maintain peace. We can be in deep sorrow and yet be at peace. It is not possible to experience a vibration that is chaotic and maintain peace.

People who deeply practice meditation will withdraw from the chaotic and find a platform of peace, allowing them to transform a chaotic situation into a harmonious one. This applies to our own minds as well as to the situations of life. Peace is a path that must be learned because so much in our outer lives has pulled us away from the path of peace.
