INTRODUCTION
In Practice meditation, the heart has greater role than the head. Many people practice meditation to quiet the mind, but ultimately what quiets the mind is an awakened heart. The heart referred to is not just the physical organ but is rather a certain sensitivity within each of us that can be enhanced through the practice of meditation. Directing memory and emotion in conjunction with our breath is the way to awaken the heart. The following meditations will create sensitivity and awareness in the heart.
